Native American Ceremony

Regina & Brian were married at The Smyrna Towne Center in October. It was a lovely Native American ceremony followed by dinner and dancing. Here is a glimpse of their Big Day.

The blanket ceremony remains a popular choice among those couples who want an Indian wedding ceremony. The Bride and Groom are given a blue blanket, which represents all of the sorrows and hardships in their past lives. They are wrapped in these blankets at the beginning of the ceremony. After the blessing of the union, the blue blankets are removed, and the couple is wrapped in one white blanket together, which they might wear for the remainder of the ceremony.
Washing of the hands.
The entire Bridal Party exited the ceremony in style with sunglasses.
Love the drapery hanging from the chandeliers.
And of course the trendy candy buffet. Man I want some of those jelly beans.
The below image is of the Bride's cake. It is made to look like pillows on a bed. I thought this was the most creative idea. Another beautiful cake done by Jennifer's crew at I Do Weddings.
