Thanking Our Heroes

Hero- a man or woman of distinguished courage or ability, admired for their brave deeds and noble qualities.

Thanking our military heroes is something that is frequently said, but then often forgotten in the everyday lives we lead. How often do we get a chance to not only say, but show our military heroes how great our admiration, and thanks to them is for securing our freedoms in a volatile world that seeks to destroy it?

Coming from a military family myself, I know that the last thing a soldier expects is a reward for their actions. To them, they are simply one in thousands who are doing what they feel is the right thing for them, and their country. But that is where we come in, to remind them that they are heroes, and that we owe them our freedom!

This is why I look forward to starting a service to those who have given me so much. I have not forgotten all they have done. This is my small way of showing it.
