Kristen & Roger Engagement

In June of this year I shot Kristen and Roger's engagement portraits. We were trying to think of the best place to do the shots, and decided that place would be the place they felt most comfortable, the place they had spent time falling in love, and the place they would joyfully come back to for many years to come. Kristen's family home in Shelbyville made a charming location with tons of great picture opportunities!
Right beside the house is a small stream that runs under an iron bridge. I just love the way the reflection of the trees looks in the water!
Kristen's mother came up with the best idea, which she continued to do all day! She would go into the field and pick daisies to go in a basket for us. (see the daisies + kitty Fluffin :)
This great tire swing added some extra excitement to the day!
I loved that Fluffin joined in on the fun. Isn't he the cutest?! He wasn't that into doing the pics, but he photographed very well. How can you go wrong with an adorable fur ball like that? And Kristen just loved all the pics with Fluffin!
I think the images captured some of the sweetness of Kristen and Roger's love. I can't wait til the wedding next weekend!
