ALOHA!
Andy and I were blessed with a dream 1st Anniversary vacation in April. It was a week or so before our actual anniversary date, but we were extremely happy to take the 10 hour flight to Honolulu!

Paradise Cove Luau was the best experience we had the whole trip. Great food, free drinks =) and what an amazing group of performers. We loved it!
One of the hula dancers pulled Andy out of the crowd to learn to hula. She did her best to teach a man with 2 left feet to dance. He seemed to enjoy it though as I cheered him on from the audience.

I can still feel the sand between my toes.

The casting of the nets at Paradise Cove.
Take my picture please!

There is something so serene about this image...

We went to lunch at a quaint little Italian Restaurant near the hotel. Our waiter turned out to be a very talented photographer that had made some great interior photography. I will add his name when I think of it (www.jeanjacquesdicker.com). He generously offered to take our pic, here it is :)

We went a full day tour of Waikiki and the surrounding area. It was a great opportunity to get some awesome shots. The tour stopped for lunch at this shrimp truck, but Andy is allergic to shellfish, so we stayed hungry.

Loved this Buddhist Temple. The grass growing on the roof just puts it over the top for me!

It is a replica of the 900-year-old Byodo-In located in Uji, Japan.
We wanna go to Mexico for our Anniversary next year. I'll let you know how that works out.
